This internet-based
Palm OS procedure logging system was developed by Infiniq
software and Optisan Medical Solutions Inc. Medical trainees
can enter procedures performed or objectives met using simple
lookup lists with minimal text entry. Data is transferred to a
central database during a brief internet synchronisation,
either hard-wire via a computer, by wireless communication or
using an infrared-enabled modem. Data
can be reviewed on the handheld, or viewed at a secure
website
